Plagiarism is a plague for research, it blurs its progress, it destroys its meaning and contributes to the decay of the place of research in civil society. Plagiarism is not a recent phenomenon. Nevertheless, the development of the Internet and the deployment of access to multiple documentary resources which is a corollary to it have particularly accentuated the phenomenon and the method. In terms of research, the originality of a position and the creativity of an approach inevitably mean that systematic copying and pasting is not innocent.
MIT TUNIS ensures the authenticity and quality of the PFE dissertations and reports produced by these students and implements a process to prevent and fight against plagiarism. The chosen solution is the Plagiarism Checker application. Our procedure for submitting PFE dissertations and reports requires obtaining a plagiarism report which has a similarity rate of less than 25% and we strongly encourage our students to work to obtaining even lower rates
